Jack Lugus, former marketing director at core producer NidaCore, has announced the launch of a new core manufacturer called Carbon-Core Corp. (Keswick, Va., USA).
The NidaCore product line had been acquired by 3M Composites (St. Paul, Minn., USA). 3M has since decided to exit the core materials business, prompting Lugus’ decision to launch Carbon-Core. Lugus says the new company will offer several types of core materials, including plastic honeycomb, laminate bulker, PU/PIR foam, PVC foam, PE foam, PET foam, fiber-reinforced foam board, lightweight panels and core bonding compounds.
