Korean supplier produces CNG modules for Russian buses

The agreement includes 58 CNG modules.

LJIN Composites Co, a South Korean supplier of Type 4 composite cylinders for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), will supply 58 CNG modules to Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ), a manufacturer of buses and heavy duty trucks in Russia and CIS countries, according to a report in NGV Global News.

The CNG modules are for the MAZ 203L65 12-meter low-floor buses, designed for city and suburban services.

“We are expecting increased levels of activity from the bus and heavy duty truck industry, which is growing demand for CNG systems,” said Woosuk Chung, the sales manager of ILJIN Composites.
