KaZaK Composites Inc. (Woburn, Mass., USA), a provider of high value-added composites engineering and design services, on Sept. 24 announced the formation of its Technical Advisory Board comprised of leaders in the fields of composites engineering and material sciences.

The inaugural members of KaZaK's Technical Advisory Board include: Donald F. Adams, Ph.D, president, Wyoming Test Fixtures Inc., Emeritus Professor of Mechanical Engineering, University of Wyoming; James G. Vaughan, Ph.D, Barnard Professor and Associate Dean, University of Mississippi, Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering; Stephen W. Tsai, Ph.D, Professor Research Emeritus, Aeronautics and Astronautics, Stanford University.

The Technical Advisory Board will work with the engineering team at KaZaK, headed by president/CTO Dr. Jerry Fanucci, helping to advance the company's development process and lend their expertise to both current projects and prospects. The Board will meet regularly with KaZaK to share insight and offer advice in the areas of composites development and manufacture.

"The formation of the Technical Advisory Board to KaZaK strengthens the internal expertise already present within the company," states John Schickling, EVP/COO of KaZaK Composites. "By adding such distinguished professionals to the team KaZaK will be able to add a fresh perspective to all facets of our engineering process, from conception to design to manufacture. These board members have decades of experience in composites from both industry and academia and will be able to advise the company on a variety of initiatives as well as potentially introduce new avenues for commercialization of our existing product line. All of our engineers can benefit from the expertise of the Technical Advisory Board."
