On July 17, JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts (Cape Coral, Fla.) announced the promotion of Glen Naroth to vice president of engineering.
For the past 15 years, says JRL, Naroth has been an asset to the company and to its customers. In his previous position as director of engineering, Naroth reportedly was responsible for overseeing the 5-axis milling machines, CAD/operations, and design and engineering projects. During the economic downturn, he was involved in developing new markets for the sister companies, including aerospace, theme parks and transportation, as well as new technologies in markets already served.
"Glen is instrumental in our company's continued growth and success in the industry," commented Matt Chambers. In his new position as VP, engineering, Naroth will take on an even greater responsibility as he attempts to position JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts as an industry leader.
Naroth has been nominated for and won industry awards, and most recently was awarded Southwest Regional Manufacturers Assn.'s top honors as Employee of the Year for Engineering.
