Job Title:        Composites Engineer

Description:    Large-scale infusion processing expert based in Pasadena, Calif.

Seeking experienced infusion processing expert, building large-scale composites with infusion molding techniques or working for a materials company supporting infusion molding accounts. Ability to lead technical investigations and support internal and external customers needs in the area of composite research, reports and summaries, part fabrication and testing. Must be comfortable presenting technical papers and conducting demonstrations at conferences and symposiums.

The individual should have resin infusion experience with epoxy, vinyl ester and polyester resins. Large-part infusion is needed — boats, wind blades, rail, etc. Also seeking experience fabricating composites through traditional methods including hand layup, RTM, VARTM and infusion.

Travel 50 percent of the time supporting customer trials and customer events in Europe and Asia. Must have a minimum of a BS in Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields with 7 to 10 years experience.
