Composites industry tradeshow organzier and publisher JEC Group (Paris, France) announced on Oct. 2 a new strategic partnership with Messe Frankfurt Inc. (Frankfurt, Germany) in a move designed to broaden JEC's presence in the Americas. JEC will leverage its new relationship with Messe Frankfurt Inc. to co-locate its new annual springtime JEC Americas Composites Show & Conference May 13-15, 2014, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta with two of Messe Frankfurt Inc.’s events, Techtextil North America and Texprocess Americas.

The goal, says JEC, is to strengthen its activity on a global basis and in its three main regions (America, Europe and Asia). With this announcement, starting in 2014, JEC will host two annual events in North America: the new spring JEC Americas event in Atlanta and the established JEC Americas Conference in Boston, Mass., USA, each autumn.

“We are very proud to announce our new strategic alliance with Messe Frankfurt, Inc.,” says Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group president and CEO. “The Americas are a major global center of composites innovation, and are a beacon for industry players who wish to compete and thrive in the largest worldwide market. Teaming up with Messe Frankfurt Inc. allows a strong presentation of technical textiles and composites solutions that will drive both industries forward. The JEC Board of Administration representing the composites industry is actively supporting this new cooperation.”
