MISTRAS Group Inc. (Princeton, N.J.) and NDT Automation (NDTA) have announced the delivery of the UltraPac Scanning System to Integrated Technologies, Inc. (Intec, Everett, Wash.) The UltraPac Scanning System is an inspection system used for the non-destructive testing of advanced materials.

The system scans the entire volume of different metals or composites and detects and quantifies irregularities, such as delaminations, cracks and voids. The addition of the UltraPac System to Intec gives the company the option to produce and test composites in its own facility, without having to ship the product to a third party. This allows Intec to customize testing to a client’s specific needs.

Intec provides advanced materials, testing and fabrication to leading manufacturers worldwide. MISTRAS Group Inc. provides a suite of nondestructive testing products and services.
