Hollingsworth Vose announce management appointments

Robert Schiller and Jochem Hofstetter have been named to positions in the company.

Hollingsworth & Vose Co. (H&V, East Walpole, Mass.), a leading supplier of engineered papers and nonwovens, has announced the appointment of two senior executives to general management positions.

Robert J. Schiller was appointed vice president and general manager, High Efficiency and Specialty Filtration (HESF) Business Unit, which provides high-efficiency, air, and liquid filter media for applications including HEPA and ULPA cleanroom, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), face masks, respirators and gas masks, vacuum cleaners, and room air cleaners. He joins H&V from International Specialty Products, where he served as Senior Director, Marketing and New Product Development. Mr. Schiller also was Business Director – Industrial Products at Honeywell, with general management responsibility for the unit's fluorine-based chemicals business. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Dartmouth College. Mr. Schiller replaces David von Loesecke who recently moved into his new post as Vice President & General Manager of the Engine and Industrial Filtration business unit.

Jochem Hofstetter was named vice president and general manager, Europe, Middle East, Africa Region and will be responsible for the sales and marketing of H&V's product lines in the region. He joins H&V from Celanese Emulsions, where he served as Director, Emerging Markets. Mr. Hofstetter previously was Business Director, Southern and Western Europe, and Managing Director, Celanese Emulsions Iberica S.L. He also held management positions with Clariant International and Hoechst AG. Mr. Hofstetter received a degree in business administration from the University of Cologne.
