GRPMS (Fareham, U.K.), a member of Umeco Composites Structural Materials (UCSM) - a Division of Umeco plc, reported on Nov. 22 that it has extended its agreement with Ashland Performance Materials (APM, Columbus, Ohio, USA) to distribute Ashland's complete portfolio of high-performance composites and structural adhesives products to the French composites market.
The agreement, which will come into effect on Dec. 1, will extend an existing partnership covering the distribution of products throughout the U.K., Scandinavia, Estonia and Finland, the latter of which was added to GRMPS’ contract on Oct. 1.
GRPMS will take over Ashland’s distribution and agency accounts from Azelis - France (Arnaud S.A.), and will distribute Ashland’s full line of polyester, acrylic, phenolic and vinyl ester resins, including the Derakane resin brand. Also included in the agreement for the French composites market are the Pliogrip branded structural adhesives, and premium gelcoats and low profile additives.
