Illinois Tool Works Inc. (Glenview, Ill.) has agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding stock of mold release and coatings manufacturer Franklynn Industries Inc. Franklynn will become a part of ITW Performance Polymers (Riviera Beach, Fla.). The company will continue to operate, with current management, at its current headquarters in Loveland, Ohio, and maintain its other domestic and international locations. Franklynn supplies mold releases for a number of polymer sectors, including polyurethanes, and specializes in water-based agents.
