Flow celebrates Airbus contract

The $30 million contract is for work on the A350 XWB.
Flow International Corp. (Kent, Wash.) and aircraft manufacturer Airbus (Toulouse, France) hosted a reception on Oct. 13 in celebration of a $30 million Airbus contract to Flow for the latter’s CMC waterjet machines, which will be built and installed over the next 18 to 24 months. Airbus will use the waterjets throughout its European plants to cut and trim the wings, fuselage, wing spars, keel beam and other parts for the Airbus A350 XWB passenger jet.
