Elbit wins $80 million Boeing contract

Israel-based Elbit Systems will supply composite structural parts for Boeing via an $80 million, seven-year contract.

Elbit Systems Ltd. (Haifa, Israel) announced on June 13 that its wholly owned Israeli subsidiary Elbit Systems – Cyclone Ltd. was awarded an approximately $80 million contract for the supply of structural components to The Boeing Co. (Chicago, Ill., USA). The contract will be performed over seven years.

Yoram Shmuely, co-general manager of Elbit Systems’ Aerospace Division, says, "We are proud to have been selected, once again, by Boeing to supply structural parts. This contract represents another step in positioning Cyclone as a major supplier to leading aerospace companies and other customers.
