Dow Automotive (Auburn Hills, Mich.) has created a sales and application team that will focus exclusively on the interests of manufacturers that serve commercial transportation markets. The Commercial Transportation Group will provide solutions and technical expertise to both Tier and OEM customers, helping them meet technical challenges that are driven by regulatory compliance and end-user preferences. Initially, the team will focus on global bus and truck segments, providing solutions for improved vehicle durability, safety, emissions control and fuel efficiency. Target application areas include interior and exterior composite paneling, and seating foams and components.
