Distributor Spectra Composites opens new warehouse in Florida

The Springfield Mo.-based supplier of composite materials and related products announces the opening of a distribution facility in Ft. Pierce, Fla.

Spectra Composites, a full-range composite materials distributor based in Springfield, Mo., has announced the opening of its newest warehouse, in Fort Pierce, Fla.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to better address the needs of our Florida customers with this dedicated  20,000 ft2 [1.858m2] state-of-the-art distribution facility,” said Tom Faris, Spectra’s national sales manager. “This has been a lengthy process, and Ft. Pierce is perfectly located to address the entire east coast of Florida as well as the central portion of the west coast from Ft. Myers to Tarpon Springs.”

The new facility offers a full complement of services and is managed by industry veteran Virginia "Ginger" Moore. Three full-time composites sales specialists, based in Bradenton, Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale, will help ensure customer service and quick response, says the company.
