Jet Edge Inc. (St. Michael, Minn.), a manufacturer of ultra-high pressure waterjet and abrasivejet systems for precision cutting, coating removal and surface preparation, has appointed Robert Bangasser as its new corporate sales manager. Bangasser is responsible for Jet Edge’s worldwide sales activities. He has previous experience in various sales management roles at all levels of the selling process, and in business development. He most recently provided custom-fabricated capital equipment solutions to major OEM manufacturers as a manufacturer’s representative. He is a graduate of St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minn.
The E.T. Horn Co. (La Mirada, Calif.), a national distributor, supplier, marketer and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, has announced that Aliene Elkins has been hired as an account manager. She is assigned to provide account services in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. A veteran within the industry for more than 20 years, Ms. Elkins’ responsibilities include growing business and expanding market share in a geographic territory that E.T. Horn has focused on and penetrated for the past 2 years.
FARO Technologies Inc. (Lake Mary, Fla.), a manufacturer of portable computer-aided measurement hardware and software, announced that the company has acquired an exclusive license from Dimensional Photonics International Inc., a leading provider of high-speed, high-accuracy digital shape scanners, for global rights to develop, manufacture and sell the company’s technology and products. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
