Fiberforge licenses technology to Cutting Dynamics
Fiberforge (Glenwood Springs, Colo.) announced last week that Cutting Dynamics Inc. (CDi, Avon, Ohio) has purchased a worldwide license to Fiberforge technology for aircraft seating applications. Fiberforge is committed to ensuring Cutting Dynamics meets its aircraft customers needs, including lower weight, improved performance and reduced cost.
CDis CEO Bill Carson says, Boeing, Airbus and others are developing a new generation of composite-based lightweight aircraft with dramatically improved fuel economy, yet all existing and future lightweight aircraft can benefit from lightweight seats a value of $500 per lb saved at todays fuel prices.
