COMPOSITESWORLD launches new site, reader forums

COMPOSITESWORLD has announced the launch of its new website, featuring new forums that allow composites industry professionals to post questions for other readers regarding resins, fiber, design, tooling, processing, troubleshooting and other composites manufacturing-related issues and challenges.

COMPOSITESWORLD, publisher of the COMPOSITESWORLD Weekly e-newsletter, High-Performance Composites and Composites Technology, has announced the launch of its new website, featuring new forums that allow composites industry professionals to post questions for other readers regarding resins, fiber, design, tooling, processing, troubleshooting and other composites manufacturing-related issues and challenges.

The new site (www.compositesworld.com), like the old, provides access to online content for both magazines, weekly news, a calendar of industry events and the online version of the COMPOSITESWORLD SOURCEBOOK, the database of suppliers to the composites industry. The new site also includes access to the latest composites new products, posted by COMPOSITESWORLD editors as they are received. Also featured are technology Zones, designed to allow users to access a variety of online content associated with different process and tooling types, including CAD/CAM, resin transfer molding, filament winding, fiber placement, pultrusion and compression molding.

The forums are designed to provide composites industry professionals a venue for sharing and exchanging non-commercial information on almost any topic regarding the manufacture of composite parts, products and structures, whether it’s advice on how to demold a particularly demanding glass fiber part or how to design a carbon fiber structure for an aerospace application. Readers are encouraged to post and answer questions, and can do so after completing a simple registration process. The COMPOSITESWORLD Forums are available by choosing Forums on the top menu.
