Composites Atlantic wins contract for Bombardier Global jets

Canada-based Composites Atlantic has won a multi-year contract with Bombardier Aerospace in Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the fabrication of the composite horizontal stabilizer for the Global 7000 and 8000.

Composites Atlantic Ltd. (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada) announced on March 22 a multi-year contract with Bombardier Aerospace (Belfast, Northern Ireland) for the fabrication of composite parts on the horizontal stabilizer for the Global 7000 and Global 8000 business aircraft. Bombardier Belfast is responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of the complete horizontal stabilizers for the Global family of aircraft.

Composites Atlantic Ltd. has been a supplier to Bombardier Belfast since the mid-1990s and manufactures composite parts that are installed on many of Bombardier's aircraft platforms. This contract will help extend the company's long-term relationship with Bombardier.
