AAR Corp. (Clearwater, Fla.) announced on Feb. 19 that it is significantly expanding its AAR Composites manufacturing operations with the lease of a 90,000-ft² (8,361m²) facility located at the McClellan Business Park, formerly McClellan Air Force Base, in Sacramento, Calif. AAR will occupy the portion of the McClellan facility formerly used by the U.S. Air Force for manufacturing composite replacement aircraft parts. The expansion’s additional equipment and capacity at the facility will more than quadruple the company’s current composites manufacturing capability. The new facility will employee approximately 200 people when fully operational.
