AOC, LLC (Collierville, Tenn.) announces a $0.04 price per pound increase for all products shipped to customers located in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean Islands, effective on and after Saturday, March 1, 2008.

The global demand for crude oil and geopolitical issues in oil producing countries of the world continue to pressure crude oil and derivative petrochemical feedstock pricing. This continuous upward pricing pressure on feedstocks used to make unsaturated polyester resins becomes even more critical as raw material price increases continue to lag those of crude oil. The results of increased cost can no longer be absorbed by AOC.

AOC is committed to the principles of Six Sigma Lean and other strategies that help offset the rising costs of manufacturing unsaturated polyesters. The company continues to invest in the future of composites and cast polymers through end-use market development and new technologies for improving the customer's competitiveness in the global marketplace.

AOC is a leading global supplier of resins, gel coats, colorants, additives and synergistic material systems for composites and cast polymers.
