Effective Dec. 28, 2012, Americhem Inc. (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio), a global provider of custom color and additive solutions, acquired Infinity Compounding, LLC, a supplier of specialty filled and reinforced engineering thermoplastic compounds, located in Swedesboro, N.J. The acquisition, annouced this week, is expected to be mutually beneficial to both companies.

Infinity Compounding specializes in highly engineered thermoplastic compounds, serving a variety of industries including medical, electrical/electronics, business machines, the disk drive industry, consumer products, industrial and aerospace/military. Infinity Compounding will be an Americhem Group Company but will continue to operate independently under the direction of its existing management team from its New Jersey headquarters.
