TenCate Advanced Composites Europe (Almelo, The Netherlands) reported on Nov. 5 that Amber Composites (Langley Mill, U.K.), which TenCate acquired earlier this year, is celebrating its 25th anniversary, using the occasion to rebrand Amber's tooling prepreg line as AmberTool.
The TenCate AmberTool thermoset portfolio incorporates the original Amber Composites' tooling range with tooling prepregs available from TenCate Advanced Composites. With more than 20 years heritage across high performance industrial sectors, the range includes the HX-series and the collaboration with 3M's (St. Paul, Minn., USA) nanosilica-fortified resin technology.
Nick Tiffin, director marketing and sales Europe for TenCate Advanced Composites, says, "TenCate has a well-established and comprehensive range of tooling products. This allows our customers to have complete tooling design freedom and flexibility. Our range is sold by a proven team of tooling experts who are providing successful composite tooling solutions on a global basis. The Composites Engineering show is an opportunity for us to showcase this complete range and to react to the latest industry challenges, offering our services, support and rapid delivery."
TenCate AmberTool thermoset composite tooling prepregs are available directly from TenCate Advanced Composites in the U.K. and USA; it is sold exclusively in continental Europe by the official TenCate AmberTool distributor Axson Technologies.
