ACMA names ACE winners at COMPOSITES 2012


The American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA, Arlington, Va.) on Feb. 22 announced the winners of its ACE (Awards for Composites Excellence) and Pinnacle Awards at the organization's COMPOSITES 2012 trade show and conference in Las Vegas, Nev., USA. 

The ACE winners were:

• Infinite Possibility for Market Growth: Trane Hyperion Air Handler SMC Panels, Continental Structural Plastics (Bingham Farms, Mich., USA).
• Innovation in Green Composites Design: Ultra-Light, Super Green Composite Furniture for Life, Nomad Mobili (San Diego, Calif., USA).
• Most Creative Application: Bus Stop Shelters, Entech Creative Industries (Orlando, Fla., USA) and Walt Geiger Studios (Washington, D.C., USA).
• Process Innovation: Longboard Skateboard/Closed Mold Training Program. Fiberglass Supply (Burlington, Wash., USA).
