ACMA Schedules COMPOSITES & POLYCON 2009

By Staff | February 2008

The American Composites Manufacturers Assn. (ACMA, Arlington, Va.) has announced that the next COMPOSITES & POLYCON conference and trade show will be held Jan. 15-17, 2009, in Tampa, Fla. The announcement completes a process initiated by ACMA president John Tickle at the association’s COMPOSITES & POLYCON 2007 trade show (held Oct. 17-19 at the Tampa Bay Convention Center in Tampa, Fla.). Tickle made public the news that the show would vacate its traditional fall time slot in 2008 in favor of a date sometime in early 2009. The decision to reschedule, reportedly reached after consultation with exhibitors, was prompted by the fact that, for several years, the ACMA and IBEX shows have been held within the same 30-day period. In 2007, the events, both produced in Florida, were separated by less than two weeks.
