COMPOSITESWORLD Expo Exhibit Sales Begin

By Staff | February 2008

COMPOSITESWORLD, publisher of Composites Technology and High-Performance Composites magazines, announced in mid-December the availability of exhibit space and the launch of a Web site for its inaugural COMPOSITESWORLD Expo, scheduled for Sept. 3-5, 2008, in the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg, Ill. Suppliers to the composites industry who are interested in exhibiting can contact COMPOSITESWORLD online at www.compositesworldexpo.com, call the COMPOSITESWORLD offices at (303) 467-1776 or e-mail COMPOSITESWORLD publisher Judy Hazen at judy@compositesworld.com.

Designed to showcase the composites industry’s extraordinary technological and end-market breadth in a single trade event, COMPOSITESWORLD Expo 2008 will pair a world-class exhibition with a two-track conference concept designed to provide practical, hands-on information about composites processing technologies and materials.

“North America represents the composites industry’s largest market,” says Hazen. “Our goal is to provide that market with a show worthy of the technology, creativity and innovation that fuel composites development in all of this very diverse industry’s many segments.” The dual-track conference program will feature sessions geared for veteran manufacturers and processors, to keep them current on established and emerging technologies, and also will provide essential training — the basics about materials, tooling and processing options — for new hires as well as attendees who are entering or exploring entry into the composites market.

Composites industry professionals who are interested in speaking at the conference during the Expo can visit www.compositesworldexpo.com/conf/speakers.html for information or contact COMPOSITEWORLD’s conference director, Scott Stephenson, Tel.: (207) 221-6602; E-mail: scott@compositesworld.com.
