Biz Brief: LM Glasfiber

By Staff | April 2008

LM Glasfiber (Lunderskov, Denmark) has manufactured the first wind blade set at its newest facility in Little Rock, Ark. The first blade set from Little Rock will be delivered to an ACCIONA Windpower wind farm. Since breaking ground in October 2007 at its new plant in the Port of Little Rock, LM Glasfiber has worked to ramp up to meet its customer’s global demand for blades. While the new plant was being constructed, LM Glasfiber had more than 190 employees working at the Scott Hamilton plant in Little Rock, a production facility rapidly deployed to accelerate the ramp-up and provide onsite training to new employees.
