Compression press line extended

By Staff | October 2007

Greenerd Press & Machine (Nashua, N.H.), in alliance with press manufacturer Tianjin Tianduan Press Co. Ltd. (Tianjin, China) has expanded its own line of compression molding presses with Tianjin pres-ses of higher tonnage (to 10,000 tons) that have press bed dimensions that exceed 240 inches/6,100 mm. Greenerd will be the exclusive U.S. marketing and support agent for the China-built press series. All are built to ANSI B-11.2 1995 (R-2000) standards and are reportedly suitable for a variety of compression molding scenarios that in-clude automotive, electrical, housewares and appliance com-ponents. (Tianjin Tianduan also builds presses to Europe’s CE standard.) The presses feature a cycle that evacuates gasses from the mold while the part is curing. Four-corner leveling promotes accurate, consistent thickness for each part. The presses are available as standard machines or can be designed for custom applications.
